Looks like Google is facing some stiff competition now:

Will this really be competition for Google?

Post by quickregister »

Google has such terrible customer service. I am really speaking about Adwords. It is strictly because they have such a stronghold on the market of Search. Do you really think that this new merger will give Google a run for it's money. Do you think that Google might actually respond to paying customers if they see their business model threatened?

Is this aquisition a good thing?

Post by fantasticdad »

I know most people thing this is a good thing, but would having more search engines be a better way to increase competition, than by having less.

Maybe it takes so much money to run a company like Google that only huge conglomerates can effectively compete.

Amen to google's horrible customer service.

It is really good. As the competition is high we will get good service. Personally speaking Bing still needs improvement to compete with google , but I hope in near future it will be done.

It's about time! Google has been dominating the entire web for the past few years. Let's see if the recent merge will make any difference.

I think Google will remain on top for quite sometime. Bing is good but I think Google will counter with something cool of its own.

Let's wait and see if they can beat Google. I know that Google is prepared for this kind of situation.

It's about time Google has a worthy opponent. I am all for quality search experience online but when one search engine gets too big then they create a monopoly.

End user always benefits from a healthy and fair competition.
