Why is it not guaranteed to be listed on Yahoo SE after you’ve used the free submission? Help people!

it probably takes weeks for your site to get indexed by Yahoo,just be a little patient

Many reasons, such as:
1- Your site could be a duplicate of another site
2- Your site could be looked at as using spammy techniques
3- You may have no links towards your site
4- Your site may have technical problems
5- Your site could have a robots.txt file dissallowing search engines
6- Your site could be down when the spider tries to visit you
etc...

There are lots of sites that get crawled daily. Which one you would pick?
I would say, get linked to the relevant site with higher PR. Try to avoid the sites with bad content, such as adults, gamblings etc, by the way they also get crawled daily. Do a small research and avoid banned sites.

Some tricks can be used to get your site indexed faster to Yahoo.

The best way to get index in Yahoo is to find those sites already there and get some backlinks from these sites. Hope this helps.

You can submit your sitemap to Yahoo, remove hindrances from your web pages that prevent spiders from indexing and build relevant links.

I also made a submission of my site to yahoo,but i wonder if there's a confirmation to receive if they listed the site to their engine.Currently,i'm building quality backlinks to get index by yahoo and other search engines.
