Today keywords in domain name does not play much role in ranking (Google) but
yahoo-msn give some importance, for getting better PP you should work hard for SEO, all link building factors will help you get better PR domain name does not play much important role in that.
For publicity/remember you should try to get such domain name which is related to your business and easy to type and remember.

This seems interesting because it seems to me when i'm googling my keywords my competitors with that name in there domain seem to come up first. but they could have better linking. I will have to test this out

Any domain name can get a very high PR. However it has to be really popular, to get thousand of organic inbound links and of course to host website which is appreciated from many, many users.
