Does anyone here recommend submitting my site to yahoo's directory. It isn't cheap ... just wondering if there will be a major boost in my ranking on yahoo.

yes, yahoo directory submission very useful and beneficially for us..but its not free..you can also submit free directory submission site these also helpful for making backlinks and ranking..

Almost all the sites will not be listed on all the search engines. So, back links will appear only from the sites which have indexed in the search engines.
