how long to get website included into dmoz website directory

it could take months or more, from what i read many people at forums just suggest that you submit once in the correct category, try to give a good description etc and just forget about it.
dmoz used to be quite a bit easier to get into but now, well, i don't hear of many success stories, unless you perhaps can join as an editor and have your own site listed that way. I suggest alternative strategies for getting decent backlinks with other free and paid directories of good rank/value - though admittedly the dmoz page rank is still high and it still is a valued and authoritative site to be listed in

It took almost 9 months to get one of my sites listed. It all depends on which category you submit to, and how many applications DMOZ gets within that same category.

It's Depends of site and Domain Age. Dmoz get the Long Time for Listing.

I thinks you have to find the Other High PR directory.
