There are lot more difference between the keywords and meta tags.
Keyword are used for increasing the visibility of a site on targeted keywords.
Whereas meta tag are use for presentation of information in a more attractive way over search engine. Meta tag are used basically for the integrating the useful information relating to the page, which will be displayed over search engine result page.
