I have a plan to design a website especially for freelance writers. The key purpose of the website is to employ job seekers works according to their expertise with a monthly pay. I have just begun to execute my plan and hope it will become a great success. I have seen that there are a number of websites that offer services in different writing areas such as academic service providers like custom essay writing service (say), dissertation writing service, and so on, seo content writing providers etc. My plan is to bring forth much opportunity for experienced writers and encapsulate all content writing services together within a single website. I hope this plan has a greater impact.

However, I focus mainly around US countries and would like to provide greater opportunities for US writers. So, I need help in optimizing a website within Google US. How can I do it?

The biggest thing that will affect your pagerank is your backlinks so that's the only thing to really consider. If you can create the same page extensions as the old site for your wordpress site any link juice will still go to the same place. If WordPress forces you to change some of your page extensions make sure you redirect them properly to the new locations. Worry more about page athority and domain authorty though rather than just pagerank:)

The easiest way i find to achieve this goal is to set the geographical location in the Webmaster tools or search console. This will help to automatically target users in a particular region.
