Unrelated links, How much will it effect me?

Are you just going for ranking or do you have a product to sell? If people find your site through unrelated sites, I'm guessing you won't get a high conversion rate.

Even if you do get rankings through unrelated sites, you won't get the same result as if you can link to related sites.

Also, are you aiming for higher ranking sites or just any old link? Quality and relevance should really come first over quantity (IMO).

Too much links from unrelated sites can effect youe site. it may be possible that google can bann your site.

linking from unrelated sites will hurt ur website if ur website selling products. so always get links from website which is related to ur website.

It wont hurt your site directly... but as much as possible, link to a relevant site. Google would like it...
