Where am i going wrong with my meta tags?

I have a problem with my meta tags being recognized i assume. At http://www.showmeedgekennel.com
I have been to http://validator.w3.org/ to validate my html. It tells me i have many errors, but most of the errors it tells me i have arent errors at all. Please help I dont know where to start.
