Backlinks Question

I'm just wondering on why site that is already indexed don't display any backlinks in major search engine even I do posting to forums with signature.

One back link is already visible using yahoo's site explorer, and for the rest of your links, it takes about a month or so for the engines to find the link.

which Search Engine are you referring? anyway, all search engines don't show all your backlinks, only random one especially google..

Google will not show all of your backlinks.

Not all SEs display all your backlinks only some of it..

To google,

Google has always shown only a sample of the links coming into your site. These links are updated in the search results every 3 - 6 weeks. Even though google only shows a small sample, this does not mean that google doesn't count the other backlinks when displaying search results. Google updates its search result pages for standard searches continuously, and these search results take into account all links that google has found.

Not all search engine display all back links. you can find instances of your site by "www.yoursite.com"

Your site have already backlinks and remember that not all SE's show your backlinks immediately once your site was crawled.

Yeah, it is because the question is asked as of January this year, so it is possible to have her links indexed many times.

What is the criateria for SE to show the backlinks..I m also facing the same problem
