CPC stands for Cost Per Click and is an important metric for marketers to understand when analyzing the performance of their digital campaigns and arbitraging opportunities. The formula to calculate cost per click is the cost to the advertiser divided by the amount of clicks.

I believe you asked about cost for each click you get and not Average cost per click for your campaigns. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Based on my understanding of your questions, the actual cost per click is a function of your bid (Max CPC), quality score and what the competitor (whose ad rank is just above yours) is bidding.
It’s different from what you put as Max CPC in the account. Max CPC is the maximum you’re willing to pay whereas Actual CPC is what you are charged for a click.

Others would argue that 2% is too low. I’m not advocating that once you hit 2% CTR, you’re in the clear.

Are you running ads on Facebook or Google Adwords? Which medium is profitable for you? For me it's not about profit only. It's about profit and tracking. If I can't track ROI accurately then there is no reason to promote ads in that medium.

Re: How do you calculate CPC (Cost Per Click)?
CPC is calculated by dividing the total cost of your clicks by the total number of clicks.
Your average CPC is based on your actual cost-per-click (actual CPC), which is the actual amount you're charged for a click on your ad
