As per my knowledge, these both are same, or we can say just synonyms of each other to make a traffic high on single keyword either its PPC or CPC.

CPC, otherwise known as cost-per-click, describes a data point when measuring success of online ads. Every time an ad is clicked, it costs a certain amount of money. The goal is to have the most efficient (and cheapest) CPC, which comes with knowledge and optimization. PPC advertising is an important part of any marketing campaign because it can increase the number of potential leads by expanding your company’s reach to a larger and more diverse audience. The next time the online advertising acronyms spark confusion, remember this – strive for the lowest CPC within your PPC advertising campaigns

PPC and CPC are often used interchangeable within the advertising community, however generally speaking PPC is used to describe the type of advertising program you are running. CPC, which stands for cost-per-click, is usually used in communicating what you are actually paying per click within your advertising program.

Pay per click (PPC) refers to a type of advertising in which the advertiser pays for each click on one of their ads. This can sometimes be a fixed amount of money per click, but more often it takes the form of a fixed daily budget, with the value of each click fluctuating based on factors like competition and search volume.
CPC, or "cost per click" is a metric that... measures the cost per click. As I mentioned above, that cost will vary based on factors like how much competition exists for the keyword and fluctuations in search volume. If you've been running ads for "Taylor Swift Faceplant" at $0.17 per click and then TayTay falls flat on her face at the VMAs, you'll soon find yourself paying many times that amount. Since the budget is fixed, you won't get stuck with a big bill, but you will burn through your funds much more quickly. Quality Score is also a significant factor when it comes to CPC, which we'll discuss in depth in a few minutes.
