Does MSN Search favor ASP?

I was doing some research on why there is such a large gap between our rankings in MSN and Google and noticed that websites coded in ASP get a major boost in rankings in the MSN Search, especially the beta.

one of our client's websites www.wickeronpark.com is ranked #1 for "outdoor wicker furniture" on MSN Beta yet it doesn't even show up in the first 3 pages in Google. I searched a few more terms and it seems to be a trend. But on the other hand we could still be in the sandbox in Google because the website is only 3 months old. This may be old news to most of you, is this true? ASP sites get a major boost over all other server-side languages? I guess this is part of an ongoing quest for Microsoft to take over the world.

I think it is also about the dofollow tag. Google strictly follows this tag, but YAHOO and MSN just overlook it.

Hi

I am just wondering why you prefer to use ASP when you can php. Its better and easier and more powerful.

Well ... MSN - Google both have different criteria about to identify a website. So that's why they have different result.

I don't think MSN loves more on ASP. All SE's loves to crawl a site as long as it is readble by their bots.
