Has anyone started sponsored searches with MSN's AdCenter sponsored search?

Any Success?

Thanks--Cary

It's too expensive for small, medium sites. I think it is better that your site has a high ranking without any money.

Very Good

Between Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter I have to say Adcenter is far better. If they say they sent 100 visitors you can bet your getting 100+ higher quality visitors than Adwords visitors.

Another thing is: If you bid too low on Adwords to compete with competitors it won't even run your ad, at least MSN displays it somewhere in the back and allows you to bid as low as .05 on even the highest cost keywords.

I have tried it and seems to me fine. I recieve less searches on low bid but the quality of incoming users looks better than google.

I go with DnPresident. Ad center is better in some points when compared to adwords...

It is less expensive and effective for conversions but in adwords you get a lot of junk traffic...

I have a question: Is it possible to make an account without entering credit card info? Seems to be a problem with MSN as compared to Google Ad accounts...

That's what I've found too. You don't get anywhere near as many impressions or clicks as Google, but the conversion rate seems to be better with MSN.

So far I see the most effective on Adword is targeting the long-tail keywords, less junk, less profit, high conversion rate. Still interested to know how effective Adcenter is...

Nice, because i got exactly the opposite results, i could advertise for 0.05 on google and also get many clicks, while msn didnt even noticed i was there before i placed a 0.21 dollar bid. How can that be?

I prefer google adwords than Microsoft Adcenter. Google adwords is cheaper and gives better results.
