Most of what I saw it seemed like they were pulling google searchers. Just a little test drive. It will take a while for this to shake out. I'd love for Yahoo and Bing to take some market share from Google. Though I don't expect it to happen.

Great move on the part of Microsoft. But I doubt if Bing will ever defeat Google's world domination.

I find it quite fascinating how BING can take so much market share in so little days. Oh yeah, it's Microsoft we are talking about.

Good start for Bing and MSN, besides they have all the resources, network and many other aspects including financial to boost advertising Bing. They still have to make much improvement and features to make it Bing really different and interesting search engine.

I think its great if they can challenge the almighty Google but I agree that Google already have such a strong dominance that they would need to come up with something very different and ground-breaking to put much of a dent in googles already massive search market share. Will certainly be watching their activities with interest

I like Bing a lot actually. Although it will never take over Google, I hope it grabs a good chunk of market share.

The boost BING is having is just the new interest. I agree with the previous posters that say it will fall to number 3 again soon. That is not to say that it may not take Yahoo's place at #2 permenantly in the near future.

Time will tell if bing is real gold or just a fools gold.

Microsoft seems to have a real talent for messing up online ventures.

I think its just a temporary boost for bing because of the name change, just people trying it out. In the end it doesn't make much difference. Google is such a monster.

Overtakes Yahoo??? Is this for real? I don't think it can overtake Yahoo in an instance. They still got so much to accomplish to kick Yahoo out of its place.

Google really needs a competitor and if bing can give a tight competition it is really good for industry.
