MSN indexing only part of my site

Post by nigeluglow »

I have an existing site www.thepro.co.uk where the original .asp pages of the basic site (24 pages) have been indexed but a further 900 .htm pages that have been created are not being indexed despite a sitemap link off the home page. Has anybody any idea why MSN does not index them when Google and Yahoo have.

How long ago did you publish the pages? Did you publish them all at the same time or in stages? Have you checked your navigation functionality within your intire site after you created the new pages? Do all your pages link to your homepage? Do all of the pages link to your sitemap page(s)?

Some more information would save someone having to research your site further. There are many things that could be causing you indexing issues. Time, nav, layout etc.

This site is unavailable now. I think it finished its work at all because MSN knows nothing about it
