BING on the rise

I've been using Bing since launch. I love it. I added it to my browser's search and set it as the homepage when I open new tabs. I haven't tried to maps, but I've been using cashback for awhile before Bing. I was a bit dissapointed with the pr0nz feature that was "advertised". The videos are much too small to be of any "use".

I had the same experience you did. For a while I even made Bing my primary search engine. There is a lot I like about it. When I need a quick graphic for a blog post I found Bing pretty nice. But overall Google just provides better results. I also found Bing slow at times.

Bing has been advertising lots and Microsoft ahve a big budget to throw around. Look at all the product placements they are doing in the american TV shows. Last time you would see the iPhone but now you see windows phone but looks like some of the actors dont know how to use it!

I think that Bing will have a big job trying to catch up with Google. Yes they may be in the hotseat for being the default Blackberry search provider, but Google is a household name. If someone talks about searching something online they refer to it as “Googling”, it would be very hard for another search engine to come in and take its place.

bing is a type of search engine we also know....bing have more database then the yahoo..

Bing gives utmost weight to onpage aspects such as contents and keywords. Authority and domain age also play a big role.

I think you should give some more details about this in order to get a useful response. What website, what positions etc etc?
