Yahoo Directory Submit

I submitted to the Yahoo paid directory 7 days ago and have not had a response on inclusion yet (they did charge my card in minutes though). I also notice the anniversary date is the application date, not the acceptance - kind of petty. How do I get answers on my status?

Well its better to avoid submitting your sites to paid directories.

Are done the submission right? You should get any email confirmations, contact Yahoo about, you should present something as proof of your submission and payment.

just send tem your statment with your order number or a proof of or order.

Your post is 3 months old. Hopefully you get already listed. Can you share with us how long did it take to get accepted and if there were any other troubles?
Do you see some traffic from the yahoo directory? What about ranking in natural search results? Has the directory submission some impact on them?

Have you tried looking in the new section? have had a number of sites listed in the Yahoo Directory and generally they don't tell you they are listed, you just need to keep checking.

They must give reason if your site is not approved by them.

Any reason for avoiding to submit sites to paid directories as you commented previously?
