When doing the tests with some of my blogs I seems to have noticed one thing which can be seriously important for Yahoo SEO.

It goes like this...

I do a post on the blog (well established blog with at least 100 pages indexed) and then for this keyword (usually an easy one) I am page 1 in Yahoo within 24 hours.

But then Yahoo sort of "junks" the blog post page and the page goes very deep, until Yahoo stirs the page for enough time and gets it back to almost the same position where it was during the first 24 hours after posting.

And with Google the same behavior, but without junking the page.

My bald statement - Yahoo is pretty much the same as Google, but it only has a time factor to kick off the "hurry up" SEO specialists. But then you still get the same results.

Yes, they want to be like Google, but they use different approach fighting for the #1 spot. And it looks like their strategy has to be corrected if they really want to compete with Googlie. I personally wouldn't mind if Yahoo become #1.

I think Yahoo!'s results are better than Google...I use it more often...I just wish the world thought that too.

We don't care yahoo, at least yahoo wouldn't sharing revenue for webmaster.

That's a rare case and the percentage of that scenario is far too small to be used as basis for such claim.

I don't think yahoo are most likely similar to google. Because yahoo is very slow when it comes to indexing while in google, in just a matter of second.. (applicable in establish blog) every time you update it..

I think its hard to rank on yahoo than Google.

Yahoo Searches is pretty similar to Google.

Yahoo loves also fresh content but it can't be like google.

Google is still the best for me.

How did you know that even other SEO don't know what is the real algo of Google and Yahoo.

I agree. I can get 1st page in Google pretty quickly. Yahoo takes more work and longer.

Both search engines guidelines are different. You cant sure that if you are in rank google then yahoo also. google more like the old website and yahoo dont and other factor also. The similaraties is same for link building and I want say here google much strict then yahoo on this point.

yes all search engines have own guidelines to give the ranking as well you can see the different results in google.com, google.co.uk and other countries search engine's
