Goggle Yahoo competition
I think it will benefit internet community when MSN makes real competition to Google. But honestly speaking, I don't believe Google will let MSN to win the battle so easy. All Google's history shows that company always comes up with new ideas leaving compatitors far away behind. That's my opinion.
Have a great day,

Re: MSN Makes offer to buy Yahoo
It is good for the public that MSN will buy Yahoo as to better compete with Google. Is MSN has no other option but to buy Yahoo? I think MSN would do other option , strategies or marketing plans than buying the site competitors.
But let's see and what will happen.

MSN wants to buy Yahoo to better compete with Google for #1 spot.
Let's see what happens.
Do you think this is good for the public or bad???

I think it is bad for the people. I would like to see a non-Microsoft company at #1 in search engine market. I don’t want to see Microsoft leading in all fronts. As a company, I like Microsoft and they produce good solutions as well. Microsoft should have some opponents for healthy competition for the benefit of the public.submit wrote: Do you think this is good for the public or bad???

I agree with you, Microsoft is good in providing a software and hardware solution but not in the search engine market. Microsoft should not compete with Yahoo and Google.

Yahoo rejected MSN offer and ask for more money as i have expected but if MSN really want to compete Google they will agree with 40 billion dollar and buy Yahoo.
Actually it should be interesting to see how MSN after buying Yahoo go "in fight" with Google that have dominant internet position.
