A site is a living entity that needs to be fed with content and updates as well as constant improvement and optimization...if you just let it sit there, it will wither away in the SERPs as other people optimize their sites and move ahead of you.

Maintenance is the answer. SEO is a continuous process and search engines are frequently updating their algorithm..

Agree to Aira.. Like what i always says to my other post, when your on top, don't be too assuming that you'll be there for the rest of your life.. Alway see to it that you will continue your work ..And remember to consider the two factors in doing SEO.. time and hard work..

You are right, content is one of the important factor for yahoo . Target the right keywords (optimization) , submit it to relevant site and continue with the link building. SEO is a continous process, it is a trial and error and we always find a solutions on how can get a better results for a site.
