Has anyone submitted to the Yahoo directory and paid the $299 per year? How long does it take to find out if you are accepted into the directory or not?

AFAIK,, they'll email back to you within 48 hours... yahoo directory submission of site can really be helpful to you... but some says that google is not favor with the paid links nowadays...

I have not here from anyone that he got listed for free! I am doing in Yahoo and Dmoz both but not yet listed but no problem I have got good links from other sources.

Enter the details of your website, pay the submission fee and in about 7-10 business days you should hear from Yahoo about your inclusion or rejection.

My friend paid $299 to get listed in Yahoo dir.. I guess she's happy with the outcome.. She got tons of traffic everyday came from yahoo directory..

Wow, that's interesting to me... May be worth a try, $299 isn't bad for tons of traffic.

I'm curious as to what placement you get, I mean for 299 and just getting indexed in the back of the pack wouldn't get you tons of traffic and maybe very little to none.

I was accepted into the Yahoo Directory recently...but have not noticed a change in traffic yet...

there just 1 to 3 traffic from Yahoo DIR per month
