yahoo as a search engine, no doubt it's totally perfect as a search engine, you can try ever whenever you are search for na question it' always give accurate and impressive answer and the major quality it has that it's answers are never give spamming.

To get a top position in Yahoo,first you have to increase the back links of your site.Submit your site into social bookmarking sites ..etc

Yahoo is more friendly, but return a very small number of customers, compared with Google.
I have website where my keywords reach on first page on Yahoo in one week, from where I got only a few clicks, while Google flooded me with clients but after 3 month of waiting to be on the fist page.

And merano1 is right. You have to submit it to social bookmarking sites. I may be able to help you with this. Check my signature

Hello sereaa01,
I am still learning about all the search engine Optimization and stuff.
I find that I have decent rankings for Yahoo, but NONE for Google.
Does anyone know what's going on with Google?
my web site is been out for years, and it has been submitted and such.

can someone take a look at my site and tell me what you think?
my site map may need attention.

You can only generate minimal traffic from Yahoo. I suggest you focus your time optimizing a site via Google.

Yahoo and SEO are two different things, SEO are somthing you do on site as well as off site for at your site become in the top search result from a search engine like yahoo.

a seo guys can optimize website on any search engine, but as the main searches occur by Google so seo person mainly focus on Google rest yahoo, bing and othe search engine are also not so bad.
