Does being listed in Yahoo directory increase PR in Google?
I would like to know if getting listed in Yahoo Directory will increase pagerank or just generate more traffic?

People who use yahoo as search engine will definitely visit your url,but such people are less in number.

i think it should increase pr in google, if u increase number of visits and backlinks you will get benifit in google pr.

In a way, yes. But it is not enough to boost your PR drastically. You should also list your site to other directories.

Listing in Yahoo directory does not guarantee that your website pr will be increased in google, as far as i know.

yes off course it matters, but there are many more factors from which you can increase your page rank, this is will give a change but minor

I think it depends on your backlinks. Yahoo counts both dofollow and nofollow links, unlike in google, it only counts dofollow links. And the quality of links coming from other sites pointing to your site will make your site index and rank by google.
