Is domain name matters

https://almightyadda.in is my domain name, but my domain name is not related to my niche, is there will be a problem in raking or should I have to buy new domain whose name will be related to my niche and redirect the old domain on new one?

People believe that EMD exact match domain helps in the ranking, but I realized that the partial match domain PMD is better.

I think domain name does not matter. If you have a brand name it could be not related to your niche but it is your brand.
