Is Link building is dead in 2020?

Hello, everyone, I have a question from you all, does link building is worth doing in 2020 to rank on a search engine? Or it is just a wastage of time?
I am doing link building from the last 3months for my site (https://fortunebuddy.in/) and I don't think so it gonna work for me.

Please tell me what is your opinion on this?

There are many more things. So if you're doing just link building and expecting that you will get good results, it won't happen!
