In my opinion, basically, we are used to different types of cloud service providers that offer various cloud computing services. The three main types of cloud computing services are Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platforms-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Cloud service providers can establish public clouds, manage private clouds, or offer on-demand cloud computing components. Some examples of cloud service providers include Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure Cloud, Oracle, IBM Cloud, Salesforce, SAP, Rackspace Cloud, and VMWare. These companies offer a range of cloud solutions and services such as storage, networking, security, analytics, and more. It is important to choose a cloud type or service that meets the unique needs of an organization.

Beyond IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, it's also worth considering how different services integrate with each other, since that often becomes a challenge as systems grow.

The major cloud providers all have strengths in different areas, so it's usually less about picking the "best" platform and more about finding the right fit for your workload, budget, compliance requirements, and existing infrastructure.

If you're also looking at ways to connect cloud applications, embedded integration platforms are another category worth exploring. For example, Latenode offers an embedded iPaaS solution: https://latenode.com/products/agent-builder. Depending on your use case, tools like this can simplify integrations between cloud services without building everything from scratch.
