Should I set signature backlinks on the forums? Are signature baclinks good? And what do they affect in SEO?

there's a lot of option you can choose to get backlink in forum site. it can be signature, homepage in your profile or even body text . But don't forget to choose relevant content when you are searching for forum site because relevant content is very important for SEO

yes it is helpful if we use it with proper keyword then it will be more benefit as the crawler will crawl it with the keyword which will index it and in turn your website will get the link juice.
