Another good way to increase page rank and increase traffic is to create something for free on your site which will be useful for your visitors.
This will provide a backdoor into your site and will feed the main pages that you want to promote.
In our case we have created a page for online Italian glossaries and dictionaries and another one for Italian cultural resources. This also encourages visitors to return and gains their trust.

Yeah too bad alexa rank is a bunch of crap! It is way too easy to manipulate alexa rank and it shows nothing when it comes to traffic. It is worthless to say the least!
