Hi,
What is "rel=nofollow"? Does it work?

rel=nofollow is an attribute you add to your links.

It tells Google, (and some other search engines) that the link is to NOT be looked at by Google.

I use this tag for affiliates links that I dont want Google to think is related to my site (like pet food for my SEO biz)

let us say it is googlebot resistant
example:
<a href="http://www.alldiy.com" rel="nofollow">All Do It Yourself</a>
result:
the URL will not be indexed by the most bots
but they still read the anchor-tag "All Do It Yourself"
