Google Update & PR Prediction

Hi there

Does anyone know when the next google update will/should take place?

I heard that the periode between the updates will become shorter in the future. I wonder if this is just a rumor or a fact.

And I really wonder how these PR prediction tools work.

For instance, I am using this one:

I tried it on several domains quite a while now and it seems to be pretty stabile in it's predictions.

Now today I noticed that it reduced my Future PR suddenly from 3.30 to 0.75 just after i got 2 new backlinks.

Now I wonder: Imagine, I got 2 backlinks from bad areas which would be penalized from google...
can the tool predict that in it's calculations?

This would be the only explanation that suddenly I lose so much Future PR

I agree with Vistadivine, you can never actually tell when the public update will be, but should be somewhere around that time!

So, during this few week, we really need to work hard to submit link and exchange if we want get high PR. Otherwise, may need to wait another 3-4 months.

That's really mean from google...what do you mean with recently?
The 1-2 weeks before the update?

So what can do, just push more effort to submit and exchange links. Who's know google may count recent added backlink. Try our best!
