Is this Google's Biggest Mistake Ever?
Tell others before Google fixes it
Did Google the "number one" search engine on the planet really screw
up?
Some people think Google knows but are not changing it.
Some say they cannot change it
Some say it's Google's biggest error.
Does George knows?
You have a look and you decide...

the wonderfull world of anchor tags... A few years ago a lot of blogsites linked to that number one result with the "miserable failure" text. As long as a lot of people do this, you can ofcourse influence google's result...
The same happened with "raar kapsel" (in english: strange hearcut) which links to the page of the dutch premier...

I also tried to catch what actually Google screw up, but didn't get it.
It would be great if people make their thinking clear, so it becomes understandable to the others.
Have a great day,

After the new PR changes..
"Liar" in a google search still gives
Tony Blair - Biography
His wife I don't know what she feels about him, after all he is a 45 minute man
but the number 3 to 8 ranking (3 in some data centres, 8 in some others) is now the mets old chief also called bLiar (sory typo Blair)
Anyway im off to buy some low key domain names and keep the world at peace..
Gush Shalom Everyone.

You need to be more clear about what you are saying when you are making posts.

David,
what the F*ck are you on about old chap..
So I type SEOCO and you do not even come top of google. If an SEO expert should post on here at least show your tricks and come number one with your company name.
Also your typo "What are you taliking". Who on earth would hire you with spelling like that. If you want help with seo for your company send a PM to me, i will get you top of google within 8 weeks or I will wear a hat of shame.

My website is three months old , there is a company in America with the same name that has been trading for many years, this is why I am not number 1. Type in SEO into
http://www.uk.msn.com and you will see that I am at number 3 I think that is pretty good, I am also at number 3 for the phrase text links. On Google I come up on the 1st page for the following phrases, relevant text links, high pagerank text links, SEO advisors, increase listings and plenty, plenty more I get over 2000 unique visitors a month, I think you should get your facts straight before you go shooting your mouth off, I notice you do not have a link to your website.

Seems like your site has an ( 8 ) for PR, not a solid 8, but an 8.
Just the same, if you asked me, and NO ONE HAS,
I prefer to spend my money in AMERICA, if not Texas.
Good luck with your business.

Yes it has a Google Pagerank of 8/10, I expect some of the sites that have particpated in this have very good PR, I have known about google bombing for about the last 3 or 4 years, It is the way Google and the others rank sites, I first saw this back in 2003 when I worked at a company called Iomart, our company website
http://www.iomartinternet.com came up no.1 for the phrase Search Engineering and it puzzled me to begin with why we ranked no.1 for this phrase as there was no mention of it in any of the content, the reason why we ranked no.1 for search engineering was because all of the mini optimized websites that we had created had a text link at the bottom saying search engineering by iomartinternet.com with the search engineering bit as a hyperlink to iomartinternet.com. I think this is a good way of determining how relevant a site is for a particular phrase and I can't see Google changing it just because a few people decided to play a gag. If Google did change this it would mess up all of their search results big time.

bLiar is always an amusing one. SEO people and the search engine algorythm guys have so much to learn.
If you want to see SEO action and search engine design in its worst type "Fúckwit" (the target is not that bad a lad, should have gone for one of those who set up this damn project, not our pressie)
If you don't know what this debate is about, then watch and learn over the next few weeks, sometimes code is better done outside the processor

I have no intention of spamming
I have been with this forum for way too long to spam
Anyway
The link on my original post was missing - it explains everything
http://www.onlinemoneymakingopportunity.com/success.htm
What i wanted to share with the users is
the importance of
"anchor links"
When you do a search on "failure" in Google.
George Bushes site is number 1
If you try to find the word "failure on his website,
there is not one singe word of failure shows up.
what did i learn:
George website is not optimized for the keywird failure
So it must be another reason why his page is number one.
So it gotta be incoming links with anchor tag "failure"
So many people get this wrong
And i just wanted to share this valuable info
Thanks

Close it and get rid of it, them comments that that person made on the page before do not look good on my company, I expect those comments were made by the person who originally started the thread under a different name, I think it is a little bit coinsidental that this was the 1st comment that this id had made, why would someone join a forum and then start swearing and being very impolite and get so uptite about comments that are nothing to do with them.
Get it closed and please get rid of those comments made by dude looks like a lady (probably the same person who started the silly thread).
