I recently changed the name of one of my URLs and am having the old URL directed to the new one. I have removed all the old links on my site and updated them with my new URL yet Google continues to crawl the new page and use the old URL. This page used to be ranked 19 on the term Acura Accessories and now it is not even listed. Am I being penalized? Should I remove the redirect and shut down the old link all together or is there another trick I could use?

Did you use a 301 redirect? normally it takes some time to get the popularity transfer from the old page to the new one, that's probably why your new page is not ranking at all yet.
