Ad impression is defined as an opportunity to see an advertisement. It is usually measured by web analytics software and is used in online advertising. In simple words, ad impression is the number of times the ad was displayed. It does not include whether it was clicked or not. It just relates to the appearance of the ad for the relevant search query.

Impression counts when something shows up on the visible part of the screen. When we search about the video and a video ad comes up in the search engine or video platform. Then counting of impressions will increase by one. Every time an ad is shown on the screen mobile/tablet/computer/Tv etc. will increase the impression number.
When someone clicks on that ad, the Click count increases. The final CTR will be calculated impression/click
