The following are the correct steps as of Jan 2022

Login to Google ads and navigate yourself to keyword planner.
Choose either of the two - choose to discover new keywords
Enter the keywords you have separated with a comma
Enter the website address below if you have any reference
Then before you hit get results, make sure of the preferred location under the keywords
