Hi,
I think now meta keywords have no role in SEO,if we are targeting Google.because we all know title tags and description shows in search results when we search a keyword,but no role of meta keywords.What you think?Is this true or false?

yes it is true but only with Google. Google don't consider met keyword tags for ranking but other search engines do consider them for ranking so it is good to add them in website.

I see a keyword in your signature.If you said that keyword has no role in SEO, why did you put keyword in your signature? What for?
I think keyword is very very important in SEO beacuse SEO is a method to put keyword into the top of Google search engine

I read some where that "Google does not use the keywords meta tag in our web search." On other hand Yahoo announced at the SMX East in New York last October that they had not supported the meta keyword tag for some months and if you aware Bing has never supported the keyword meta tag.

Some folks say that having Meta keywords is not important, but this is not true. Any correctly build meta tags should have keywords tag.

Some search engine recommends a non-empty meta keywords tag less than 874 characters.

Weather meta keywords have or not having any important but it is good practice to include them in meta tags. May after some time Google would again give importance to meta tags.

Actually, meta tags is really important in SEO. Meta tags is one way to get your site indexed by Google.

Hi guys..I think ... it is very true but only with Google. Google don't consider met keyword tags for ranking but other search engines do consider them for ranking so it is good to add them in website....thanks for share nice suggestion...I like this....

Yes i agree with you.

Meta keywords don't affect your rankings, and it is less important when it comes to search engine rankings. It would be helpful if you focus on promoting your site in different possible ways that will generate quality backlinks.

Yes, your answer is correct. Google use it for their reference in the crawling process and index them accordingly.

Now Google doesn't consider Meta keywords, it only considers title & Meta descriptions. So when targeting keywords, you should use your keywords in title & Meta description. Also while searching on Google, it show title & Meta description in their search results.

Meta tags are still very useful and they will be used in future too. We should not stop to use meta tags in our site. We have to use them for better results.
