Singular vs. plural keywords

I have heard completely different things regarding this. Some sites say they are different and some sites say they are the same. I don't know which information is accurate. Does the plural form of a keyword also target the singular?

While doing keyword research I have noticed that "good clinical practice" is searched for much more often than "good clinical practices". 865 searches vs. 94 searches.

Now I already wrote all my copy using "good clinical practices". Should I change it to "good clinical practice", use both (although 1 is much better than the other), or not worry about it since "practice" is contained within the word "practices"?

I still have trouble understanding this. Thanks.

Plural keywords are better than singular keywords. Because plural keywords cover singular keywords as well. Therefore, try to use plural keywords as much as you can.

for me, i consider them as different keywords to target, when you seach for a singular keyword, it usually gives different result when plural keyword is used

you should use plural keyword coz it covers singular keyword.

Using both plural and singular version of your keywords can easily double the number of keywords in your list.

no there is no need to change... b'coz you've a chance to come good rank on both keywords...

Plural and singular keywords are two different keywords with different search volumes. Target and use both of them in your meta tags.

well, better to experiment regarding on your keyword usage. Use both plural and singular and see which is better with regards on the results.

I generally use both plural and singular versions as you can rank for both terms. I usually focus on the version that has higher traffic, but always include either the singular or plural counterpart. I suspect that it also counts towards LSI content as well.

I agree to all above post using singular and plural keyphrases return two different results...
