as we know google care about key words, so we do many on the word words. But i am little comfused:

Sometimes i use a brief key word, which it owns a huge Google Trends, but it can bring me much PV from google.

and when i use a little longer key word, that will be fine.

But it is not absolute. I wanna whether there is some rule to judge this.

I completely agree with you. It based upon the competitiveness whether you choose short or long keywords.

I don't think the length of the keyword is a major issue. As long as it is relevant to the site, then it should be fine

Hi Gina,
I am Ketlin and from my point of you the keywords should be in clear words that
is showing your business. It does not matter that keyword is short or long but it
seems to be attractive that people read the keyword and they like to visit your site.

The length of keyword does not matter. The thing matter is that on which keyword you want to bring your site on the top of the google. Just choose that keyword and start optimization.

I personally start with long tail keywords ( 3 or 4 words) and than move to short tail keywords having one or two words only.

I prefer one or two word keywords. But keywords should be chosen according your business and services, it must be relevant to your site's content. Also remember, keywords are used by people and competitors of that particular keyword.

Thanks
Franky

It's quite difficult now to compete with others & ranking top for short keywords,so it's better to opt for long keywords.
