What is the difference between keywords and metatags ?

meta tags are not displayed to the individuals surfing the web and are used by very few search engines as a sole means of ranking web pages.in the past, using meta keywords would help search engines find your site easier and list it on their results page according to its visibility.

Keywords & meta tags are completely different terms.In meta tags we're using keywords of our site.But keywords are the terms frequently used in sites relevant to the topics of the site.Keywords & its optimization helps in attracting organic traffic & decides the SERP.

you want to rank certain keyword.it is always good to place them in the title tag.
meta tags are snippets of code that are included before the body content of your site.this contain the information about your site name.

Keywords are the one being search in search engines. Metatags are the one who are important in our site for onpage process.

keywords is one of the available meta tags. The meta keywords is not as useful as it once was. Google does
not seem to use it at all. Still it is worth including for other search engines. You should also include a meta
description. It is important that these tags are unique for every page. The same goes for the title. For Ex.
meta tags is like a home and keywords is like a people who can move any where in site and can leave also

In meta tags there us also the tag of keyword, but it is not so valued these days.

Meta Keyword : Your page keyword
Meta Title : Title of your page
Meta Description : What is your page about

keyword is what we use to get traffic, meta tag help your keyword to rank on serp. maybe that would explain it.

Google puts no value on meta keywords now, so don`t bother

meta tags is higher category comprises with keywords , description ,tags.
But the keywords are words out of your web page text which are mostly use in our web page.

Metatags use only your onpage seo optimization but keyword use all in your internet marketing promotion.........
