What useful tips and advices would you provide to make keyword research for a website effectively! What factors does SEO-expert have to take into account when performing keyword research for a website? What are your opinions about this!

Competitiveness and search volume of a keyword is important factors in selection of keyword for promotion of a site. Keyword should have low competition and high search volume so that you can get ranking in serp.

First research on your possible targeted keywords
Filter the keywords you would like to use
You can use any powerful keyword suggestion tools to get an idea if these keywords are competitive

Try to search for keywords that has high traffic but with low competition.

Study the "long-tail keyword", low competition, high ROI.

You know guys its really hard to pick the right keyword that has low competitor and has high number of searches. what i do is i also create a keyword phrase . You can use google tools.

You can also check your server logs on what keywords currently your site is receiving traffic from.

This is what I would do:

- First, choose a keyword (any) that represents the main idea of your site and get keyword suggestions with google's adwords keyword tool.
- Second, from that list, choose the keywords that have the most searchings and that are relevant to the concept of your site at the same time.
- Third, type each keyword in google search engine and see how many sites are listed for each keyword and take note.

The best keywords (the ones that you should choose) will be those that have the most people searching and the less competing sites.

you should be wise in searching the best keyword. Look keywords that has a a volume of searcher.
