jump starting new domains by parking

I was wondering if you could jump start a new domain, avoiding the sandbox, by parking a domain on similar based content site. Later, you move the domain to a new server, but with content more or less the on the same topic.

will your PR follow the new domain.

obviously, if this is possible, then there is would be a whole industry around prestarting domains. Just wondering if anyone has tested this.

That is why many webmasters purchase old or expiring domains!

The PR will usually pass over if the domain has some content to begin with and is already popular.

Google is monitoring expired domains and zeroing their PR.
