PR of www.domain and domail only? Why they are different?

Don't understand why I get rather different result when I check with different monitoring tools
www.domain name and damain name without www. Are different algorithm are used for that? Help me with this.

Sometimes they use different data centers to calculate pr. Therefore, you can get different results.

So if I want to make my PR better I should do it twice for (both)?
