Site structure in terms of SEO

Guys, what is better for my site in terms of SEO:
1) if I build additional sections like section1.mysite.com, section2.mysite.com
2) if I build additional section like mysite.com/section1, mysite.com/section2 ?
Considered that links to these sections would be located on main pages

When you make a site the normal way is the 2nd method that you have posted. Therefore, it is better for your site in terms of SEO.
