HMTL site-map is created for user experience. Users can easily navigate all internal pages from a single page. Html site-map also give information about website structure

Website with too many pages usually have an HTML sitemap that is basically for the user. One should not get confused with XML sitemap.
In-short: XML sitemap is for the bots and the HTML sitemap is on the website for the users.
