Voice search essentially allows users to speak into a device as opposed to typing keywords into a search query to generate results. Audio technology uses speech recognition to understand what users are saying with extreme precision

Voice search is not a fad. It has comfortably crossed the threshold of early adopters. It has gained mileage because it is more convenient for a user to speak with.
