What am I doing wrong?

I am fairly new to this and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. My site is www.nadalinv.com.

I'm appearing in the search results, but not until pages 11, 12, 13 for my target keywords. I know that my site is linked from a number of other pages, but when I do the link:www.nadalinv.com on Google, it shows only one link to me. Why are these other links not appearing?

Incidentally, the Spanish site www.nadalinv.com/espanol appears on the very first page when you search for Spanish keywords, but I'm guessing this merely reflects the lack of competition.

Is there something else obvious that I am missing? I'm just not sure where to go from here in getting my page listed higher. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Google only shows a random sample of your links and if you want to see the real numbers of your link check it in google webmaster tools if you have an account.

yahoo will display most updated backlink counts. But if u have google web master account you can see all your backlinks

Or you could use this "backlink watch" tool. Its free and another good thing is that with this tool, you would also know if a specific backlink is "no-follow"

If the site is quite new, then wait for the next Google Update to see your links increased. You still have the time to maximize your link building efforts in order to improve your IBLs and rankings as well

Addition to all, Do not STOP getting backlinks from relevant websites.
Keep droping your link slowly but consistently.

Wait for the next backlinks update and you can see yoor site backlinks. Google is not just like yahoo that you can view all your backlinks.

Just keep optimizing your keywords so you'll get a good SERP. Remember, SEO is a continuous process..

Just don't force yourself in doing link building. Set your own quantity limits for it (let's say 10 links a day ) and don't stop the process to keep the ball rolling.
