I want suggestion from all you SEO gurus about web portal Optimization.

As we all know this is the time of portals or Big websites. So we all people have to prepare for optimizing of Portals and Web2.0 websites.

Can any one tell me point wise SEO Plan or Strategy about web portal Optimization? What are the main steps keep in mind during a web portal Optimization.

I believe 'Web Portal' can be a stand alone,, depending on its services, functionality and free features that will give browsers satisfaction and entertainment... do you think 'Yahoo' optimized their site? maybe! but I believe their strategy is their free features that they have like emails, messenger, etc...

Think of what browsers really enjoying nowadays and provide it to them... by that,, you will surely gain a lot of traffic and backlinks coming from the satisfied visitors of your site..

Well i guess the best thing that you can do is that offer free services.. Like yahoo they offer yahoo mails.. start from free and provide good information and many features!
