SEO stands for Serach Engine Optimization.Seo is a science or an art to improve page rank of a site.There are many steps involve in seo process.
1.Study your site.
2.Research keywords and make list of keywords releted to your site or product.
3.Write a good discription about your product and services.
4.Use your most important keyword in title tag.
5.Optimize meta tag.
6.Search engine submission.
7.Directory submission.

Hey Jeet,
What exactly are you looking for regarding SEO? If you want to learn it then need to search 2-3 good SEO article and read them or if you already have asite and looking to optimize it then above suggestion is cool to start!

Identifying search terms is referred as key terms or keywords for which your site have to be found on the search engine and relevant keywords to which is visible in the search engine. You can find search terms by using overture and keyword tracker seo tools.

when you know this two basic steps, you can go in advance like SEM perhaps
