Hi everybody,

I was wondering if someone might help me to fix strange things happened with my IIS server.

Today I noticed my IIS is not functioning.
I went to the services administration trying to fix it. It goes with the error message that it cannot find the path.

Then I went to IIS consol by itself and noticed that I cannot run right mouse click for "properties of Internet Information Service". Double-clicking on "Internet Information Service" doesn't help too, it looks like folter is blank.
Another words its full of mess., and I really don't know what to do.

Please help!!!

Have a great day,
Peter

Tried to connect IIS manually to computer by entering "my computer name" into the prompt of IIS console, it gives an error "Error connecting to my computer name. Cannot find the path specified."

Does anyone know where can I look (may be in the registry) to see the PATH to my local computer from IIS? At least it will give me some idea.

Your help is greatly appreciated,
Peter

I fixed that issue with IIS and here is the best way to do it.

First, I uninstalled IIS as a component, and then reinstalled it again.
While I rebooted the system it starded fixing bad files and references, and I assume the system was corrupted. But anyway, now I know how to fix it.
If anyone have similar issues, I will give my advice.

Have a great day,
Peter
