Header Tags

When you put in series of header tags is the text visible when looked at on a browser or are the keywords hidden??

I tried to put in some header tags into the code with some keywords in and when looked at a browser they appeared in big and then reducing sized letters.. I was a bit niaive in thinking that they were hidden on the page.. Peter

If by header tags you mean <h1>, <h2> etc then these are visible on the webpage.

These tags are used to, as they state, create headers on a webpage, much like you would see in a newspaper or magazine article.

You DO NOT need to compile a long list of keywords (hidden or otherwise). Well laid out content, good body copy and the CORRECT use of <p> and <h1>, <h2> etc tags will be enough to ensure your sites keywords are found and used.
